Located in the heart of downtown Milbridge, Narraguagus Bay Health Care Facility is a 58-bed home away from home that offers a full range of health services from post–acute transitional care between hospital and home, to long term care. With the help of our team of health care professionals, an individualized care plan will be developed and tailored to meet your individual needs. We are committed to service, and we encourage choice and independence. We take pride in the quality of our staff, our facility, and the care we provide.
Skilled Nursing offers an array of services, directed by you, with care provided by experienced, professional staff – the goal being to assist you in regaining their functional independence. Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitative Services include physical and occupational therapy which support you in attaining the skills required to return home safely. Narraguagus Bay features our own rehabilitation staff offering therapy up to six days a week. Long-Term Care Services are provided to those who are unable to reside independently in their own homes. Residential Care offers a social model of care with twenty-four hour supervision, assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, meal service, and integrated community activities.
